Batwoman Vol. 1 Hydrology

Collecting the first 6 issues of the Batwoman comic, this is the first part of the "Hydrology" story line. Interesting story, creative art layouts and well defined characters make this a very good book. I haven't read any of the "Batman Inc." books and this series seems to be somewhat tied into it, which I'm not sure if I like or not. I Batwoman and the supporting characters make for a good comic without tying them in. I enjoyed the Original Detective Comics run of Batwoman, as well. If I could, I'd give the book 3 1/2 stars. I found the story creative and interesting. Hoping for a little less of Batman in the future, though. Don't get me wrong, I've been enjoying the current Batman story line, I just don't feel he's needed here.

Really enjoyed reading this odd combo of Crime Noir and Cultish Horror. Looking forward to the next volume in the series. Fun, interesting, great artwork that fits the time and mood.
