Friday, Friday...

Yes, another Friday and I have the weekend off. Hoping to get in a nap at some point this weekend as it seems like I never get to sleep in any more. Been a bit of a slow week at work. Not much happening in my life right now, same old stuff. Have been trying to get out and walk more than I have been and I think I may have lost four pounds. I'd like to get down to about 185, but we'll see.

Cinematic Titanic

Going to Durham today for some Cinematic Titanic Live. I think it will be the third time I've been to one of the live shows (if you count Dragon Con a couple years ago). Looking forward to the bizarre "War of the Insects". I have it on DVD, but will enjoy it live as well, I am sure. Dinner with friends before the show and the drive back will make for a fun evening I hope. Hoping to be home by midnight. I do wish they would produce more DVDs, though. Not sure how profitable dvds are or if the live show makes the big money for them, but whenever they put out a new dvd, I buy it.

Vacation

Not blogging very much these days, sorry. On vacation at the moment and enjoying some non stressful down time at home. Perfect weeke weather wise for a vacation. Beautiful, warm weather. Just finished reading "The Sabbath" and getting ready to head out for a bit this afternoon. Looking forwards to a nice weekend. Cinematic Titanic in Durham on Friday, spending the weekend with Karen and dinner with friends at Encore on Saturday night. It's been a good week, so far. Life should be more like this all the time.
