Back to Work

Had a nice, short vacation. Back to work. Busy day on Monday, not so much today. Went to class this evening. Interesting as always. Rabbi actually finished before eight pm! Anyway, it late. Good night, all.

Day 2 of My Mini Vacation

The first day was pretty nice. Did some cleaning, had sushi for lunch, went down to Krankies for a but and had dinner with Kim Mitchell. It was a nice relaxing day.
Today, just getting the place a little more organized. Throwing some stuff out. Might be going Contra dancing in Durham tonight. Life rolls on.

I was walking down the sidewalk and found a quarter today. I noticed a woman and her kids walking toward me. They hadn't seen me pick it up. When I passed them, I gave it to the boy."Here, I found this" I said. He said thank you and it was a fine day.

Back Home for the Evening

Class ran late. Think I'm about lost. Missing a week didn't help matters, still it is fun and I'm enjoying it. Raining like crazy so getting home too a bit longer than expected. Off to Charlotte for a meeting in the morning. Looks to be a nicer day tomorrow. Time for bed.

Home a Little Early

Left work a bit early. Didn't really feel like being there today. Getting myself together to go to class. Skipped last week due to being sick, so I'm most likely going to feel a bit lost at class. Going anyway as there are only four or so more classes.

Another Saturday Night

Beautiful day. Got out for a bit. Came home and did laundry. My darn iron broke so it looks like I'm going to pick up a new one in the morning while out at brunch. Typical Saturday night for me. Home alone watching a movie. Guess I'll have something to drink and just relax. Have a good night, everyone.

Movie Night

Yes, going to a movie with my friend Will. Battle: Los Angeles. WoW! Anyway, it will just be nice to get out for a bit instead of sitting at home. I'm sure the movie will be silly, but what the hell.

Blogging is such a lonely act. I've been at this for 5 or so years and mostly, it's been me paying attention. Guess I'm trying to leave behind some thoughts or impressions should I not wake or die while out and about.
Honestly, I'm ok with that. People know I do this and the occasional visitor drops by (hello). I thought about this as I looked and saw that I am nearing my 1000 post. Never really thought I'd still be doing this for that long. Yes, some posts have been quite short or just pics or some video I liked, but it was all something that made some kind of impression on me that I wanted to share.

Koch imports oil from the Middle East, refines high-carbon Canadian crude, maintains coal-burning plants, owns one of the largest oil pipeline networks in America, runs environmentally hazardous lumber mills, produces toxic chemicals, and manufacturers fertilizer. The University of Masschusetts Amherst has scored Koch as among the top ten worst air polluters for its carcinogenic chemicals.
