More Hot Days Ahead

Into the second half of the year with more very hot days to come this week. Still, I like this better than the dreaded winter that is coming. Winter wouldn't be so bad if it just remained daylight longer. Not the way I would have designed things, for sure.

Watching the new MST3k set tonight. First movie is Lost Continent. Rock Climbing....

It's a Rough Week

  Working alot. Looking forward to Friday and the weekend when I'll have time to do things for myself. Been getting a bit later than normal. Another day and I'll see the light at the end of the tunnel. Friday I'm headed to Greensboro for a bit, then back to Winston for a movie/ drinks (not sure if both or just one of them).
  Saturday is uncertain. May be having some rain in the mountains, if so I'll hang out around Winston and just have a relaxing day. If there is no rain scheduled, it's off to the Creep Trail for me and a day of relaxation.
  Sunday, I'll be headed to Raleigh for a bit, back in the afternoon and house work for the evening to wind it up. Not too shabby.

Still Waiting

 Just sitting here waiting for the dryer to finish with the laundry. Overall, today was a pretty boring day. Nothing exciting as most everyone was busy with their own thing going on. Holidays are usually like that for me. The only holiday I enjoy anymore is Halloween, otherwise I couldn't care less.

4th of July

 Trying to avoid fireworks, really. Just doing some laundry and reading a bit. Pretty bored. Always a pain going anywhere to see fireworks. Nice, relaxing day over all. A few friends were over. Bought a shirt and belt. Watched a movie. Tomorrow is another day.

Downtown on Friday Night

 Had the opportunity to go downtown last night. Walked around for a bit. Lots of people down there. Looked like the restaurants were pretty busy. I had forgotten that it was First Friday with the gallery hop. Lots of people there as well. Good to see so many people out on what was a great evening.

The Weekend is Upon Me

 I'd like to get out sometime this weekend, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. Working for most of it. Sunday I'll be off. May go to Raleigh that day. I may just wait for the following Sunday and just relax that day. I'd like to see the Mad Tea Party downtown, but I am not sure when they are playing.
