From the Dalai Lama
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.

Hell Week at Work
Hell days at work this week. Payoff is at the end of the week. I'm off to Florida at the end of the week and back late Saturday. Looks to be alot warmer later this week, too.
Well, off to bed. Long day at work tomorrow and I need to be up early.

Meet Up meeting
I hosted a Meet Up meeting tonight at my apartment. I thought it went very well and would not mind doing it again. Very pleased with the discussion after the movie.

Move On Meeting
So, I'm hosting a meeting for Move On this Sunday at my place. We're going to be watching Capitalism: A Love Story and have some snacks. So far, 7 people have signed up for it and I am hoping for a good turn out.
Last night, the Regional Director for Move On calls me. He was feeling me out for helping set up a Town Hall meeting for Winston Salem. Not sure I have all the time to do that, but I'm willing to listen to his suggestions.

Sunny, Warm Day
Yes, it was very wonderful outside today. Got up into the 70s and I was able to leave a little early today from work. Felt a bit sick this morning, but I'm hoping to shake it off tonight and get a good nights sleep in.

Monday Morning
It's a pretty morning. I hear some birds nearby. Going in a little later than usual this morning. Just sitting on the couch, kicking back and working on getting rid of a headache.
Looking forward to the week. Looks to be good weather this week. I'll try to get outside as much as possible. Looking thru some pictures I've taken over the past few years. I have a few that I'd like to use for the walls. Various pictures for trips I've taken to just some I've shot around town. Got to get something up on these blank walls.

Young Victoria movie

I saw it this past weekend at A/perture Cinema. Now, I like historical dramas. Loved Elizabeth, Pride & Prejudice, etc. This movie just didn't do it for me. I thought the editing was poorly done. Lots of unexplained cuts, very jumpy movie. Really, it was kind of dull as well. I'd say rent this on DVD.

Hospital Update
Well, she's still there. Going to be heading back over to the hospital in the morning. She's having dye injected into her heart to see how bad it is. I think signs look good that she should be out by the end of the week, but we'll know for sure tomorrow. Back to doing laundry and watching the Oscars.

Home from the Hospital
I really don't like hospitals. Not at all. Had to go see my aunt tonight. She had driven herself to the emergency room. Looks like they'll be keeping her for atleast a couple of days. Updates to follow.

It's March!
Ah, March. In a couple of weeks, we'll move the clocks forward and the flowers will start to appear. Looks like a bit of snow tomorrow, but we're almost over of this bitter winter.
Woke up this morning and noticed how very quite it was. Very relaxing and welcome. Sometimes, it can be difficult to remember what quiet really is.
