Happy New Year!

2007 is almost done. The year has been hell for the good ol USA. Only a little over a year left for Bush. Impeachment should still be started on both him and Cheney, imho. Hell, I'd start criminal investigations and send them to prision, if possible. Well, have a great evening and let's all look forward to a better 2008.

Almost there

Yes, almost the end of another year. No firm plans yet for New Years eve, but I do plan on doing something. Last year, I think I just went to bed early. DOH! Anyway, I have the two days AFTER New Years Eve off, so no reason NOT to have a drink or two.

Last Weekend

To do your Christmas shopping, that is. I'm almost done. I have one more gift to get and I'll pick it up Sunday morning at Borders. I lothe this time of the year. Everyone is crazy and not much normal is going on. Well, it's almost over. I did see Bistro 420 is covered up and the menue for the new place is posted on the window. Looks good, too.

I am Legend

It's a movie December for me. I went to see I am Legend with Mick the other day and I think we both agreed that the movie was a bit short I've never read the book, but I understand it is short as well. Still, I don't feel ripped off or anything. A solid movie.

The Golden Compass

So, went to see it for my birthday. I have mixed feeling about it. The movie seems rushed. Not enough time fleshing out characters. I have a feeling this movie would have been better with about 30 more minutes added to it. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, just not really good. Still, I feel it was worth seeing.

December

Well, here we are again. Just about the end of another year. My birthday is next week and I'll be 45 (still not married). Yee Ha (ha said sarcastically). My depression seems to have lifted, though. I'm off today and I'm going to try to do a bit of shopping.
I just don't care for this time of the year. Cold, everyone is busy (including me) and I'm working more. What's to like? Well, today I'm determind to just relax and have a nice day (as the rest of the week will be hell). If anyone reads this, how 'bout a "Happy Birthday" for me, eh?
