The newest book for Dummies. Frankly, if you haven't figured out that this is the most corrupt US government sense Nixon and that Bush needs to be impeached...well, there isn't much hope for you. Posted by Picasa

Rita Cosby is a "reporter" for MSNBC. She is a reporter only in the most general terms. Kind of like the "reporters" on Entertainment Tonight. She has one of, if not THE most annoying voice on television. I cannot even stand to flip by her when channel surfing. Please, go away or back to FOX News. Please.Posted by Picasa

Taking a Stand

This from CNN.com-

He (John Kerry) announced his decision Wednesday to a group of Democratic senators, urging they join him, Henry said. Kerry also has the support of his fellow Massachusetts senator, Democrat Edward Kennedy.
Some senior Democrats said they are worried that the move could backfire.
Republicans need 60 votes to overturn a filibuster.
Senior White House officials said the move makes the Democrats look bad, and Republicans already have enough votes to overcome any filibuster attempt.

Dems are worried this will Backfire?!? BULL, this will show some leadership in a time where the President has broken the law, where the Republican party has become the party of corruption and none from that party are fit to lead.

I don't know if any of you have ever read the book/ seen the movie "A Handmaid's Tale", but it looks more and more like America is becoming the country in "A Handmaid's Tale". Let's add making women second class citizens to the list (your body will belong to the state). Posted by Picasa

This happened just two days ago when the Attorney General was speaking at a college in the NorthEast (can't remember which one). He was justifying Bush's spying on Americans at the time. We all need to hold this administration accountable and, in my opinion, these students are heroes. Posted by Picasa

Majority Report

Yeah, I was on the Majority Report last night. Just a caller. They were talking about Healthcare in this country and other countries and it's one of my petpeeves. We really need a system like in europe. Our system is broken and destroys people's lives. Maybe I'll rant about this later.....

They are Spying on YOU.....

Click on the title above to read the whole thing, but the fact still remains....Bush should be impeached. This is Nixonian in scope, heck it's WORSE than what Nixon was up to.

WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 - In the anxious months after the Sept. 11 attacks, the National Security Agency began sending a steady stream of telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and names to the F.B.I. in search of terrorists. The stream soon became a flood, requiring hundreds of agents to check out thousands of tips a month. But virtually all of them, current and former officials say, led to dead ends or innocent Americans.
President Bush has characterized the eavesdropping program, which focused on the international communications of some Americans and others in the United States, as a "vital tool" against terrorism; Vice President Dick Cheney has said it has saved "thousands of lives."
But the results of the program looked very different to some officials charged with tracking terrorism in the United States. More than a dozen current and former law enforcement and counterterrorism officials, including some in the small circle who knew of the secret eavesdropping program and how it played out at the F.B.I., said the torrent of tips led them to few potential terrorists inside the country they did not know of from other sources and diverted agents from counterterrorism work they viewed as more productive.
"We'd chase a number, find it's a school teacher with no indication they've ever been involved in international terrorism - case closed," said one former FBI official, who was aware of the program and the data it generated for the bureau. "After you get a thousand numbers and not one is turning up anything, you get some frustration."

Where is the outrage??

Podcasting....

So, I'm thinking about doing a podcast. Now if I could figure out what about. I have some interests that I could podcast about. One that springs to mind is a local "what's going on" type. Maybe interview some of the locals, what's coming up, etc.
Another would be a movie review podcast (maybe I should combine them, eh?). My friend Shayne and I used to do movie reviews on our old radio show.
If any of you (that know me), have any ideas.....let me know.

Into the New Year!

I see you made it thru the holidays. I'd say that I did atleast 90% of my gift buying online this year, how 'bout you? It's been almost two months sense my last post. Looks like Bush really is up to no good. Nixon without the brain.
Gotta destroy America to save it, don't cha know? He admits to breaking the law! Folks, this guy and his administration has got to be the worst in the past 100 years. He must be impeached. He has broken the law and thinks he is above it. Time to bring him and the administration down to earth.
