Yes, I am taking a week off in September. No plans, though. I do have an appoinment to get a physical. Also, the local arts college (NC School of the Arts) will be persenting a NOH play that I'd like to see.
I may go visit a friend in Maryland or run up to Cincinnati and just hang out for a day or two. Will try and post pix when I get back.

Brothers Grimm
Went to see it today and it was good fun. Read a couple of so/so reviews, but it is worth seeing. It does have a slow start, but it hits it stride once the boys are forced to do good. Beautifully filmed and terrific effects. A very good end of summer movie!

A Nothing Town....
This town boors me to tears, really. I really miss Cincinnati. Always something to do (in fact, too much to do). Very hard to meet people here and when you do they are all married, kids, etc. I need to get out of here. It's very depressing.

Meanwhile, nearly two-thirds of 1,000 adults responding to an Associated Press-AOL News 48-state poll released last week said rising gas prices will cause them financial hardship over the next six months. More than a third said the hardship will be serious.

Sunday Night
Hello,
Just stitting 'round the place. Trying to get over a nasty cold and burning some CDs for friends. I find it interesting that as I have gotten older, that I want to have a long term relationship with a woman. Get married, you know.... the single woman my age (35-45) don't seem to want that (not that I have been able to find).
Finally finished watching all of the Firefly series. I hate I didn't see it when it was on. Great show. I also hear there is a V for Vendetta movie coming this fall. I am so there. Hope it does the comic justice.

Relationships
How does anyone know what to do when starting any kind of relationship? Funny, for years all I wanted out of a relationship was sex and I had no problems getting that, now (or atleast in the last 4-5 years) that I am looking to settle down and want a stable relationship, zip. Are there no attractive, Liberal, intelligent women in North Carolina wanting a good guy?
