Cafta...Nafta...just what the hell are we doing?

I don't pretend to be an expert on these free trade agreements, but I think that, so far they have not been much benefit to us (unless you are the CEO of a large corporation). First Nafta, now comes Cafta. It barely got out of the House because one Rep was stuck in traffic and one didn't bother to vote. Laugh if you want, but Peroit was right...there is a large sucking sound and it jobs headed south of the border.

Buster 2

Well, I finally took the cat in to be "fixed". It's sad when someone abandons a nice friendly cat like this. He's currentlt laying on my couch, very quite and well manered, looks like I will be keeping him (or is he keeping me).

Looks like I have a new cat. The people that lived here before me left him behind (I have been told by neighbors). He hangs out and greets me in the mornings and at night. Very good mannered, so it looks like I am going to adapt him.
I have named him Buster. I need to take him in and have him "fixed", before I let him in. I am a cat person. Love'em, in fact. Most dogs, to me, are as dumb as a bag of bricks. Cats, you never know what they are going to do. Maybe he's adapting me....
