Well, it's over for another year. I did get what I wanted and I did get to sleep in, so over all it was a good christmas. I avoided going out of town, thank god! I feel sorry for all those stranded in airports. Traveling during this time of year is stupid.
Now, on to New Years. Nothing planned, but I am sure something will come up. Keep warm, stay safe and Happy New Years!

Shopping
It's done. I bought one item from a local store and everything else got bought from over the internet. If the malls and shopping centers are wondering where thier business is this christmas....people are at home doing thier shopping.
Long lines, rude people, slow people who won't get out of the way, bad parking, traffic....no thanks. Plus, I pay no sales tax and get it cheaper (even with the shipping). What choice is there to make? I love shopping on line!

Bonefish.....
Went to dinner at Bonefish Grill for my birthday. I am not a big fish eater, unless it is sushi, so I ordered a steak. It had to be the toughest steak I had eaten in 10 years. No, usually I would say something to a manager or someone, but this being a dinner bought for me for my birthday, I kept quiet, until I got home. Then I cut loose with an email to a Regional Manager from a link on the home website and what do you know, I get a phone call the next day. So now I am getting a voucher good for up to $45 at Bonefish. Pays to speak up sometimes.

Cinema Sociey
Went to the movies tonight. It was a fund raiser for the Winston Salem Cinema Society. Good, low budget Sci-Fi film. I'd say around 30 people were there. For as little advertising and at $20 a ticket, I thought that was a good turn out.

Birthday Time
Yep, it's almost here. Another year gone. I'll be 42 for those of you keep track. No party plans. My grandmother gave me her obligatory $20 and that's fine. She still thinks of me as a child when it comes to that and I think she likes being able to do it, so what the hell. I'll be off as it's on a Sunday, but I think the only thing special I am doing is going out to dinner.
