Here we go. Four days of trying to fake out the american people that the Republican party is-1) Inclusive, understanding and has a "Big Tent" 2) The party is moderate 3) It's the best party to run America.....yeah...right.
Three lies. They are anything but. The Republican party is- exclusive, controled by the far right and my cat (yes, the dead one) could run the country better than this gang of liers. Republican means- Freedom from thought or control of your life. Big Brother will tell you what to think (FOX News, anyone?), no Freedom of Choice and Billions more for the Rich (Tax cuts) and Corporations. Wake up, people. Don't be fools. Defend America/ Defeat Bush.
Personal writings of thoughts, opinions and things I come across while blundering through my life.

End of Summer Blues
Well, fall is about here. Bleh. The days are shorter, colder...I get sick (I have a cold right now). I keep thinking it's time to move to Arizona, but that just isn't realistic. 'Course, we have the elections to entertain us this year. Go register, if you haven't, ok? I'm going back to bed.

Hamell on Trial
Ok, last time he was in town there were, I think 12 people in the audience. This guy deserves better. So, walk, run, swim, fly to see him this thursday night here in Winston Salem at the Garage. He's really worth it. This guy wails. He discribes his style of music as Punk-Folk. I can dig it.

Vacation
Just back from the beach (Myrtle). I haven't been there in over 15 years. I did have a good time and it was great to have my boy (Alex) and girlfriend (Kim) along. We did quite a bit. Shopping, Putt-Putt, walking on the beach. We also visited the battleship North Carolina in Wilmington. Very interesting stuff.

Beach Time!
I'm headed off to the beach for a few days starting tuesday. I haven't been down there in over 15 years. I'm planning on having more fun for the rest of the weekend when I get back. No updates 'till then! Take care, all!

Christmas in August?
If you were in any mall in North Carolina on Saturday....god have mercy on you. You would have thought it was Christmas. All over saving a lousy 7% sales tax. It's tax free weekend here in NC and shopping is hell. I had to take back some pants I had bought earlier in the week for some alterations and whamo....all hell broke loose. Man I hate malls.
